I've been really bad about updating here. It's hard to post things when I don't own a scanner! Well, there's one on the fax machine in my mother's office, but it's for her business and I would have to use her computer for a couple hours to scan and post all the stuff I want to.

I'm going to start paying more attention, though. And I'm going through another edit on my novel, and I think my website will be up in a couple months. I'd come here hoping to network so that I could get word out about said book...and just because, you know, I like looking at people's artwork, especially when they're better than me.

I'm getting a new computer within the next month, and it will likely have Photoshop on it. Yay! My drawings often look normal in person and look strange on the computer screen. I think it has something to do with the colored pencils and the light that reflects off of them. Poor Ptolemy looks like he's scribbled in with crayon, but he looks much better in person.

Soooo....obviously I only have two pictures up, so I haven't disappointed many "fans" by not updating, but for anyone who cares, I will be adding more pictures soon. You will be sick of me. Trust me. Most of my pictures are portraits of characters from my novel, although neither of the ones up now are, ironically.

Wow, I need to update. And I've ranted long enough. Bye now!
